I covered my Graduation gown in a skin-like material of latex house paint. I first covered the gown completely in white paint. Then I added the colors.

Beautiful Pain- My First Gallary Showing.

This work is currently in the 2009 "Not Yet Famous Artists Revealed" Juried Undergraduate Exhibition at the University of Delaware.

In this work, I covered a vintage 1950's pump in upholstery tacks. I completely covered the pump to camouflage its original surface without distorting its form. The subversive texture contradicts our past visual experience by using the tacks in a way that is unexpected. The piece evokes a feeling of pain and presents an odd juxtaposition.

Changing A Space

This is an installation done in an elevator. The walls and floor are covered with over 600 marshmellow Peeps. With this many Peeps one feels as if these cute and fluffy treats may attack you in their army formation. Watch out next time you enter an elevator.

Stiletto

A sculpture of a 6ft x 3.5ft stiletto heel made completely out of recycled cardboard. It is 6X's it's normal size which allows the viewer to see the simplest things in a whole new way -- which is the whole idea as an Artist.

I am captivated by this photograph. I feel that it captures the transition in seasons from fall to winter.

One Love, One Heart

This composition integrates text and image. It was inspired by the song One Love by Bob Marley. Overall, I am pleased with my final poster compostiton and feel that my design conveys the tone and rhythm of the song.

Unconventional Beauty

This is my final for project three. I am happy with the results of merging analog and digital pocesses. I feel that it truly represents one's inner beast; it is beauty in an unconventional sense.

Stich In Time

This photograph is a combination of digital and analog processes. I like the way some of the spools of thread are distorted to the extent that it is almost unrecognizable. This was a result of my manipulation in the placement of them while being scanned. I also like the introduction of the staples and sewing as an analog component to the piece.

Memories

This compositon is a mix of analog and digital processes. I like the overall sensation of the picture and the contrast between the digital work and analog drawing.

Identity

This was my favorite picture out of the many photos I took for the self-portrait assignment. I like the way the shadows are cast along my body and the sand. I also like how my face is illuminated.
